Most railing companies make you wait for a site visit before you see a number. Here are our actual prices. Add each section of railing – the deck, the stairs, the balcony – and you'll get an estimate in seconds.

Prices are for supply and installation, plus GST. Minimum job charge is $550. Frameless glass on stairs, glass gates, privacy screens and custom colours are quoted separately.
What changes the price
- Picket or glass. Aluminum pickets are the most affordable. Glass costs more but keeps the view open.
- Top-mount or side-mount. Top-mount posts sit on the deck surface. Side-mount (fascia) posts attach to the edge of the deck – they keep posts off vinyl decks and give more usable deck space, and add $5 per foot.
- Stairs. Stair sections cost more because every post and panel is cut to the stair angle.
- Frameless glass. Thick 12 mm glass with no posts between panels – the cleanest look, at a higher price.
How to measure
Measure along the edge where the railing will go, in feet. Measure each straight run and each stair run separately, and add them up by type. Don't worry about being exact – we measure everything on site before we order.

Is installation included?
Yes. These prices include supply and installation by our own crew. GST is extra.
How accurate is the calculator?
It uses our real per-foot prices, so it's a good budget number. The final price is confirmed after we measure – things like corners or tricky access can change it. Every job has a $550 minimum.
Is there a minimum charge?
Yes – $550 plus GST. Small jobs like a single handrail are charged the minimum.
How much is a gate?
An aluminum picket gate is $350, installed. Glass gates are quoted separately.
How fast can you install?
Most jobs are installed within a week of your go-ahead, because we stock our own aluminum and glass. Custom-cut glass can take a little longer.
