Aluminum & Glass Railings in Delta, BC
Deck, stair and entry railings for Ladner, Tsawwassen and North Delta
Railing Experts supplies and installs aluminum picket railings, glass railings, stair railings and handrails across Delta. In the past year our crew worked for 12 Delta clients – homeowners in Ladner and Tsawwassen, and builders and deck contractors finishing new homes and rebuilt decks.
We're based just up the road in Surrey, so Delta jobs are close to home. We work in Ladner, Tsawwassen and North Delta, from the Boundary Bay and Beach Grove areas to Sunshine Hills.

Railings we install in Delta
- Aluminum picket railings – powder-coated black, white or custom colours for decks, porches and balconies. No painting, no rot – a good fit for the wind and salt air near the water.
- Glass railings – tempered glass with aluminum posts, or 12 mm glass for a cleaner look, so a deck keeps its view of the yard, the farmland or the bay.
- Stair railings and handrails – exterior deck stairs, front steps, garden paths and stone steps.
- Replacement railings – swapping tired wood railings for aluminum on older Delta homes.
- Railings for builders – new decks and new homes for local deck builders and general contractors.

Delta railing FAQs
How high does my deck or stair railing need to be?
Under the BC Building Code, guards on a house generally need to be at least 36" (900 mm) high where the deck is 5'11" (1.8 m) or less above the ground, and 42" (1070 mm) when it's higher. Openings must be small enough that a 4" (100 mm) sphere can't pass through.
Do I need a permit to replace my railing in Delta?
Replacing an existing railing usually doesn't need a permit, but new decks and major changes often do. Check with the City of Delta for your address – we'll supply the railing details your permit needs.
Will aluminum hold up near the water in Tsawwassen and Ladner?
Yes. Powder-coated aluminum doesn't rust or rot, and it doesn't need repainting. Rinsing it with fresh water now and then keeps salt residue off the finish.
How long does installation take?
Once materials are ready, most homes are installed in one or two days. Custom-cut glass adds time for fabrication after we measure.

Sara

Neil and his crew did a great job. He’s customer service was amazing and delivered exactly what he promised on time and on budget. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking to get railings put up.
Alex

We asked Neil to install Railings on our deck, and refer to our family members. His price is fair, and service is excellent! Highly recommended to those who will need railing for either renovations or new houses.
Greg schmor

Neil is a great communicator and does a fast clean install. The railings look great. Can’t say enough good things about how he does buisness and the quality of his workmanship. That is definately a rare thing these days. I won’t go anywhere else for railings in the future. Highly recommend him.
Jen

Neil and all the installers had incredible customer service. The installers were clean and efficient and Neil was great to work with. Anytime I contacted Neil he always responded in a quick manner including helping me out with extenuating circumstances in regards to city inspections. For that I am really grateful and I would highly recommend The Railing Experts for your projects as they went above and beyond to stand by their product. Thank You!
